Hello simulaters.
It is possible to configure the results collection period by VL?

(I try found any post hear but when I put results+collection at the search, the forum returns: "The following words in your search query were ignored because they are too common words" )

Thanks in advance for your cooperation

    Hi,

In case you still need this, the results collection period is actually a global variable (see in the information store on the data and rules tab). This means that you can use normal SET command to change it.

SET Results collection period = 1000

The RUN SIMULATION command would also work.

    Hope this helps.

You possibly needed this information a long time ago but have you tried the command RUNMODEL? It uses only one parameter which is the "End Run Time" and it explains that the "Results collection period = End Run Time - Warm Up Period". Or maybe you need to use the RUN SIMULATION command, but I couldn't find it under their HELP FILES. So maybe they changed the RUNMODEL command for RUN SIMULATION?

    Hope this helps. Alicia

I could be wrong, but I don't think RUNMODEL command does anything nowadays. Try it out for sure, but that was my experience with it.

To add to this, results collection period is a global variable that is stored in the information store (number) so if you just need to read it rather than change it, you can reference it as a variable in VL (just like unknown did).
